Curse o' the blue icing

Ashley had her 12th birthday party on Saturday. Since Ashley has always had huge BLOW OUT parties since her 1st birthday party, she has scaled back these parties all by herself. More intimacy, less choreography. Katherine and one other girl, Alysha was there. A couple of other girls were invited but could not attend. Ashley had a great time anyway...even when it started to rain. This kid has some spirit... even her mom Eva said she would have cried at Ashley's age but not Ashley! She was hula hooping, and balloon fighting in the rain. We had fake coconut drinks, pizza, chips and dip, and a CURSED BLUE CAKE. I kid you not, Ashley's birthday cake was cursed. The blue icing was everywhere. It got on me first and I hadn't even touched it! Eva and her mother Ellen were laughing at me at first but I got the last laugh because it got on both of them too. It was even on Eva's legs and kitchen cabinets! At E.J's party at Gameworks last month, I carried around the left over pizza and birthday cake for an hour so as not to waste it. However, I told Eva EXACTLY what she could do with that CURSED BLUE ICING CAKE when she kept trying to get me to take it home with me. That blue icing was SO BLUE, you know the bakery must have used half a gallon of blue dye. It stained my finger nails blue!
I had taken up my surfboard prop and took tons of pictures and played some party music off my itune downloads. What a great time we had.
